This site serves a multitude of purposes.
1. If you want to see live comedy, you can go to the 'Comedy Shows' page and see a calendar view of all comedy shows going on in the area. If you don't like to plan ahead, tonight's shows appear on the 'Home' page in the What's Happening Tonight box.
2. If you want to get to know local comedians, you can go to the 'Comedians' page and see a list of local acts. There you will find their performance style, biography and even video/ audio clips.
3. If you want to perform comedy, you can go to the 'Open Mics' page and see a calendar view of all comedy open mics going on in the area. Tonight's open mics also appear on the 'Home' page in the What's Happening Tonight box. Information is updated regularly so feel confident that if an open mic is listed on this site, it is currently in operation. Once you feel up to it, you can be listed as a local comedian on FunnyPhilly.com, get some exposure as well as be booked on a 'FunnyPhilly Presents...' show.
